Q7: Why can't my RC car move backward?
A:
Confirming the working mode. The always-on green LED means Racing Mode is
enabled. In this mode, the car can forward and be braked to a stop. But NO backward
possible.
Q8: How to switch the working mode?
A:
There are 4 operation modes of the ESC. Changing the state of jumper caps 1 and
2 to switch modes. When the throttle stick is in different positions, the response of the
motor is also different.
Normal Mode(
Boat Mode
): Features forward and reverse, without brake With low
heat, this mode is suitable to use in confined spaces.
Brake Mode(
Training Mode
): Features forward, reverse, and brake.
Racing Mode: Features forward and brake, without reverse.
Climbing Mode(
Crawler Mode
): Pulled the trigger to forward, pushed the trigger to
reverse, centered the trigger to brake.
Note
:
The ESC must be restarted after changing the state of the jumper cap.
Otherwise, the corresponding mode and output will not take effect.
Q9: Does COOL 9030 features a low voltage cut-off function?
A:
Yes. To enable the function, Put the Jumper Cap onto the pin of the third row
means the lithium battery protection function is turned on. When the voltage of a
single cell is lower than 3.25V, the output power will be reduced gradually. When
lower than 3.0V, the ESC will be automatically cut off to protect the model battery
and prevent the lithium battery from over-discharge.
To disenable the function, remove the Jumper Cap from the pin of the third row.
