tape-handling parts or use a RadioShack cassette
deck cleaning kit.
1. Remove the batteries and disconnect any other
power source.
2. Open the cassette latch and door, then press
PLAY
to expose the tape-handling parts.
3. Use a cotton swab dipped in denatured alcohol
or tape head cleaning solution to clean the tape
guides, play head, pinch roller, and capstan.
4. When you finish cleaning, press
STOP
and close
the cassette door. Then reconnect power.
