REPLACING THE BATTERIES
The watch comes with two CR2032 type
lithium button-cell batteries for power.
When the screen looks dim or the sound
becomes weak, replace the batteries. For
the best performance and longest life, we
recommend RadioShack lithium batter-
ies.
1.Use a coin to turn the battery compart-
ment door counterclockwise until it pops
out.
2. Lay down the compartment with the
inside facing up.
3. Lift the release key on the side of the
compartment and remove the half
cap.
4. Remove the old batteries and insert
fresh ones with negative polarity (–) facing each other.
5. Replace the cap.
6. Place the compartment back into the watch and use a coin to turn
clockwise until it locks.
Note: Time/Day/Date/High Score are reset when the batteries are re-
moved.
Warning: Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not burn
or bury them. Keep button-cell batteries away from children. Swallow-
ing a button-cell battery can be fatal.
Caution:
• Use only fresh batteries of the required size and recommended
type.
• Always remove old or weak batteries. Batteries can leak chemi-
cals that can destroy electronic parts.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of batteries
(standard or alkaline), or batteries of different capacities.
CARE
Keep the watch dry; if it gets wet, wipe it dry immediately. Use and
store the watch only in normal temperature environments. Handle the
watch carefully; do not drop it. Keep the watch away from dust and dirt,
and wipe it with a damp cloth occasionally to keep it looking new.
Modifying or tampering with the watch’s internal components can
cause a malfunction and might invalidate its warranty. If your watch is
not performing as it should, take it to your local RadioShack store for
assistance.
