Turning Your Answering System On and Off
From the base

With the phone
in standby, press
on/off.
The system
announces
“Answering
System is on”
and plays the
current greeting.
The message
counter displays
the number
of messages
stored in
memory. If the
counter fl ashes,
then you have
new messages
waiting.

appears on the
display, and
the answering
system
announces
the number of
new and old
messages.
Press 6 at any
time during the
announcement.
The system
announces
“Answering

message.
