ATTERY
If AC power fails or you unplug the system, you need one
9V alkaline backup battery (not supplied) to save the
answering system’s messages and settings for the day and
time. Batteries are available at your local RadioShack store
or online at www.radioshack.com.

1. Use a flat-blade screwdriver to press the tab on the
battery compartment’s cover, and then lift up the cover
and remove it.
2. Attach the battery to the terminals, then place it inside
the compartment.
3. Replace the cover.
When

appears, replace the battery.

If you do not plan to use the
phone with the battery for a
