TROUBLESHOOTING

We do not expect you to have any problems with your Handsfree
Headset Amplifier, but if you do, these guidelines might help.

If you cannot find the problem, take the Handsfree Headset Ampli-
fier to your local RadioShack store for assistance.

Problem

Suggestion

Trouble transmitting (caller
has trouble hearing you, but
receiving is OK).

Make sure the microphone boom is
not too far away from your mouth.

Check the control unit’s battery
power.

Make sure the headset’s cord is prop-
erly connected to the control unit.

Trouble receiving or headset
does not work at all.

Make sure the headset’s cord is prop-
erly connected to the control unit.

Make sure the headset is properly
connected to the phone (see “Making
the Connections” on Page 7).

Check the control unit’s battery
power.

Ensure the phone and phone lines
are operating correctly.

Check phone line operation by using
another phone on the same phone
line.
