Built-in Automatic Frequency Control
(AFC) — ensures drift-free FM reception.
Earphone Jack — lets you listen to broad-
casts privately.
FCC WANTS YOU TO KNOW
Your radio might cause TV or radio interfer-
ence even when it is operating properly. To
determine whether your radio is causing the
interference, turn off your radio. If the inter-
ference goes away, your radio is causing it.
Try to eliminate the interference by:
Moving your radio away from the TV or radio
Contacting your local RadioShack store for
help
If you can not eliminate the interference, the
FCC requires that you stop using your radio.

Connecting Power
You can power the radio from either of the
sources:
• AC power with the fixed AC power cord
inside the battery compartment
• Battery power with four C batteries (not
supplied)
USING AC POWER
You can power your radio from standard AC
power using the fixed AC power cord inside
the battery compartment. Follow these steps
to connect AC power.
