Mounting the Solar Panel to the Pole
•
has pre-drilled slots for two
different orientations depending on the type of pole that is used. For mounting on a flat surface,
at the desired
position with the solar panel facing as close to south as possible at a 45° angle and secure to pole

Tighten all nuts on the mounting bracket and solar panel.
Large Fixed Solar Panel Mounting Bracket Installation Instructions
For use with 80 watt panels
•
Assemble the bracket by attaching the support piece to the larger
bracket.
•
Use the remaining bolts and spacers to secure the solar panel to the
bracket. Tighten all nuts on the mounting bracket and solar panel.
•
Attach mounting bracket with solar panel to pole. Radarsign provides
two banding clamps that will fit 3½” - 4½” diameter poles. For larger or
smaller poles, customer must provide clamps.
•
Slide bracket up the pole to desired position with the solar panel facing
as close to south as possible at a 45° angle and secure to pole.
•
Tighten all nuts on mounting bracket and solar panel.
