Appendix A: Solar Models: Mounting the Solar Panel to the Pole

•

With provided banding clamps, attach mounting bracket with solar panel to pole.

•

Slide bracket up pole to desired position with solar panel facing as close to south as possible and secure to pole.
The solar panel should be positioned to face south at a 45° angle.

•

Tighten all nuts on mounting bracket and solar panel.

•

Solar panel should be washed with a mild dish detergent and soft cloth every 6 months for optimal
performance.
