LET’S GET STARTED WITH THE ASSEMBLY
We would like to suggest that you assemble the four balconies first. The bottom
three are all identical with the enclosed walls, while the top one has the low walls.
Put the balcony floor (
L
) on your worksurface and proceed to glue the lugs of the
four walls (
M
), (
N
), (
P
), and (
Q
) into the slots of the floor (
L
). Note that walls (
N
) have
a nub that will be glued into the tower wall and wall (
Q
) is slightly longer than wall
(
P
).
NB
: Please remember to add some glue where the walls make contact with
each other. The balcony will partially “hang” from the walls so these sub-assemblies
must be sturdy. Apply some gentle pressure on the walls to ensure a snug fit. Ensure
that every part is square and plumb before the glue fully sets. Assemble all four
balconies as described.
To assemble the tower, you must glue the lugs of the side walls (
A
), (
B 1-2
) and (
C
)
into the slots of the base plate (
D
). Again, remember to add some glue where the
walls make contact with each other. Next glue in the roof (
J
) between walls (
B1
) and
(
B2
) before the glue sets. In the diagram above all the positions of the walls are
indicated.
Next, you can glue the nubs of walls (
G 1-2
) and (
H
) into the slots of the base plate
(
E
). Note that the slots to accommodate the guide pins must be towards the front of
the structure. Again, remember to add some glue where the walls make contact with
each other and glue in the viewing deck (
F
) between walls (
G1
) and (
G2
) before the
glue sets. Add some glue where the viewing deck (
F
) make contact with the rear wall
(
H
). Apply some gentle pressure on the walls to ensure a snug fit. Ensure that every
part is square and plumb before the glue fully sets. You can complete this part by
gluing the feet of the balustrade wall (
K
) into the slots in the front of the viewing deck
(
F
).
To complete the assembly, you must glue in the four balconies. The two nubs of
each of the balcony floors (
L
) must be glued into the four sets of slots in the wall (
A
).
Likewise, the nubs of the balcony walls (
N
) must be glued into the slots in wall (
A
).
Remember to apply some glue where walls (
Q
) make contact with wall (
B
).
You have successfully completed the assembly of an iconic building!
FINISHING & BRANDING
We leave the finishing to your imagination and your taste. Do whatever you think will
transform this into a structure that will compliment your race track diorama. We have
included some artwork and would suggest that you protect it with a clear spray.
CONCLUSION
We sincerely hoped you have enjoyed this assembly and finishing. Please remember
to give us some feedback and either send or post some pictures of this product on
