IMPORTANT

This appliance must be earthed.

The wires in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with 

the following code:

Blue - Neutral Brown - Live Green and Yellow - Earth As the 

colours of the wires in the mains lead

of this appliance may not correspond with the Coloured 

markings identifying the terminals in your plug, proceed as 

follows:

The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the 

terminal which is marked with 

N

.

The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the 

terminal which is marked with the letter

 L

 .

The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be 

connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter 

E

 .

If a 13 AMP (BS 1363) Plug is used, a 13 AMP Fuse must be 

fitted, or if any other type of plug is used a 13 AMP Fuse must 

be fitted, either in the Plug or Adaptor, or on the Distribution Board.

 If a moulded plug is fitted and has to be removed take great care in disposing

Troubleshooting chart

Pressure washer does not start

1. No mains supply.

2. Poor plug connection or faulty outlet socket.

3. Unit is pressurized.

1. Check socket is switched on. Check fuse in plug.

2. Check plug connections and outlet socket.

3. Squeeze trigger on gun.

Pump does not reach necessary pressure

1. No pressure 

2. Water inlet filter is clogged

3. Pump sucking air from hose connections

1. Ensure that you have a accessory attached. 

2. Clean water inlet filter

3. Check that connections and locking ring are 

properly tightened

Fluctuating pressure

1. Pump sucking in air

2. Clogged nozzle

1. Check that hoses and connections are tight

2. Clear blockage with cleaning needle (see page 5)

No detergent suction

1. Using high pressure setting

2. Not enough detergent

1. Use low pressure setting (see ADJUSTABLE 

LANCE)

2. Add detergent up to min level

Leaking:

1. Water leaking from the lance

1. ‘O’ ring burst. Replace with a new ‘O’ring. 

 

(Note 4 spare ‘O’rings are supplied attached to the 

Instruction manual) they are also available via our 

spare parts dept)
