At the appliance first use accurately clean the oil container (9)
with a damp sponge with hot water.
Wash the basket (3) with hot water and a normal dishes deter-
gent. Abundantly rinse and accurately dry all of the compo-
nents.

. ESSENTIAL SAFETY INFORMATION
Do not open the lid during cooking. If it is necessary, be ex-
tremely careful in order to avoid steam emissions or sprays.
To use cooking gloves or pot holders to protect your hands is
advised.
•
Make sure that the deep fryer is not near or on a hot plate or gas cook top.
• Before you use the deep fryer it must be filled with the required
amount of oil.
Never fill the fryer over the maximum level indicated on the wall of
the inner bowl.
•
Never use the deep fryer without oil or below the MIN level because
this could damage the element.
•
Never move the deep fryer during use. The oil becomes very hot and
you can get burned. Wait to move the deep fryer until the oil has cooled
off.
•
The deep fryer is protected with a thermal safety device, which switches
the machine off automatically if i t overheats.
•
NEVER leave the deep fryer unattended while in use. Always ensure the
safety of children if they are near the deep fryer. Keep fryer far from
children.
•
Be sure not to damage the heating element (do not bend or dent).
•
This appliance is equipped with a safety cut-off, which ensures that
the heating element can only function when the element is correctly
placed on the fryer.
•
In the case of overheating, the thermal protective device will automat-
ically switch off the fryer. This device is a small red button found in the
cord storage compartment. lt can be re-activated by pushing the button
in again with a pointed object (e.g. a pen).
Disconnect from main before
re-activating!
