APPENDIX1: ADJUSTING MANUALLY T HE TEMPERATURE SETTINGS

User can adjust manually the temperature settings of their R-COM incubator to meet the requirements of specific
bird species or in order to reduce the temperature during the incubation process.

TEMPERATURE CHANGE PROCESS

1.

Press for 5 seconds the <SEL> key while the R-COM is operational or while in stand-by mode. The display
will show the incubators ‘software version.

2.

As soon as the software version appears on the screen, press three times the <OK> key (within 2,5 seconds).
The incubator will get into the temperature change menu.

3.

The display shows the set temperature value and the symbol of the thermometer flashes. To increase the
temperature press the <OK> key. To lower the temperature press the <SEL> key. The temperature varies
with each pressure with 0.1 degree. If no key is pressed within 8 seconds, the configured temperature
settings will be saved automatically and the incubator will return to the operating mode or the stand-by
mode.

4.

From this moment on the temperature of the incubator will slowly change to the set value.

To reset the temperature settings again to the default factory settings of . C, follow step 1 and 2.
In the temperature change menu; Press both keys at the same time for 3 seconds . The settings will change to
the factory default of . C. After this do not touch any key for at least 8 seconds. The incubator will save
automatically the new temperature settings and will return to the operating mode or the stand-by mode.

ATTENTION: The default factory temperature settings of . C should only be adjusted or changed by
experienced users with an extended knowledge. Wrong temperature settings can damage the eggs and put
the hatching results at risk.
