The speed changer for DC motors allows the speed of the direct current brush motor connected to it to be
proportionally changed.
The intended use of these DC motors applies to Quick
®
thrusters and windlasses.
The device can be controlled via an analog port or via a CAN bus communication interface.
The advantages which the MSC offer, are:
• High efficiency.
• Reduced weight and dimensions.
• Can work in a wide range of ambient temperatures.
• For 12V and 24V motors (12V for MSC400).
• Output short-circuit and overload protection, input overvoltage, overheating
• Thermal motor protection (if equipped with a protection switch).
• Variable speed for the cooling fan.
• User interface via LED that signal the status and errors indications.
INSTALLATION
The installation of the device must be carried out by qualified personnel.
