1. SYMBOLS
The warning triangle identifies
all explanations important for
personal safety.
Follow these instructions to avoid accidents!
Numbers and letters refer to illustrations
and machine components such as buttons,
warning lights etc.
The manufacturers accept no liability for
damage caused by:
• Use other than that for which the
appliance is intended;
• Modification of the power cord;
Modification of any of the machine’s
components;
• Use of non-original spare parts or accessories;
• Repairs not carried out by an authorized after-
sales centre;
This product meets the labeling
requirements set out in WEEE
Directive (2002/96/CE). The symbol
indicates
that this electrical or
electronic product may not be disposed of as
household waste. PRODUCT CATEGORY with
reference to types of appliances listed in
Annexure 1 of the WEEE Directive, this product
comes under category 2 “Small domestic
appliances”.
DO NOT DISPOSE OF AS DOMESTIC
WASTE.
Failure to observe the above precautions will
render the guarantee invalid.
2. IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

packing materials (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene,
nails, boxes etc.) are a potential hazard and must not
be left within reach of children.

Before plugging in the machine ensure that the mains
voltage is the same as that indicated on the ratings
plate.

The power cord should be fully extended (avoid
kinking or compressing) in a position where it cannot
be knocked or tampered with by children; it should
not be placed near water or other liquids or heat
sources, it should not be damaged. If necessary, have
it replaced by qualified electrician.

The use of adaptors, multi-sockets and/or extension
leads is not recommended. Where such use is
unavoidable, use only products bearing a quality mark
(such as IMQ, VDE, +s, etc....) and ensure that the
marked electrical rating is higher (A = ampére) than
that of the total appliances plugged in.

In case of doubt or uncertainty, have a qualified
electrician check the electrical system, which should
be in accordance with safety regulations in force,
including:
- the appliance must be earthed;
- electrical wire sufficient for the power rating;
- efficient circuit breaker.

Place the machine on a water-repellant surface
(laminated, steel, ceramic etc.) away from heat sources
(ovens, hobs, fireplaces etc.) and in an environment
where the tempture does not go below 5°C.

Do not expose the machine to inclement weather
conditions or install it in areas of high humidity such
as bathrooms.

For replacement parts contact a dealer or an
Authorized Retailer and use only original spare parts.

Packed machines should be stored in a dry, damp-free
place protected from the elements. The temperature
should not be less than +5°C.
A maximum of 3 packed machines of the same type may
be stored on top of each other. Do not store heavy items
of other types on top of the packaged machines.
The manufacturer cannot be held liable in the
event of damage to things or persons caused
by improper installation or use.
