Care and Cleaning Instructions

There are no parts inside the machine that require your attention or servicing . Do not try to open

warranty. If you have a problem with the heater, or if the power cord gets damaged in any way ,
you must take the unit to a suitably qualified engineer or electrical repair centre.

Before cleaning the machine, please make sure it is disconnectes from the power supply, and has
cooled down completely.
Never clean the machine with water and do not let it get wet under any citcumstance.
The outside case can be cleaned using a slightly damp lint-free cloth [ a small amount of detergent
can be used if required ].
To remove any dust particles etc from inside the front grill, or the rear air intakes, you can use a
regular vacuum cleaner.
Always make sure the machine is completely dry before using.

With sensible care and attention this heater will give you many years of good service and
economical heating.

Overheating

•  The thermostat will turn the machine off if it overheats.
•  Overheating can be caused by obstruction to the air intakes on the back of the machine or the

grill on the front. If this occurs please disconnect the machine or the and allow it to cool for 30
minutes. Remove any obstruction and turn the machine back on.

•  If the problem persists you should have the machine checked by a suitable qualified electrician.
•  If the heater ceases to function, the most likely cause is that a no-self-resetting thetmal cut-out

operates which could be reset by disconnection of the supply , mains. If there is still no function
please follow the repair advice above.
