5. Installaon Instrucons – Mounng/ Removal
THIS ALARM MUST BE INSTALLED BY A COMPETENT PERSON AND IS TO BE INSTALLED
ACCORDING TO THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Wall-mounng
1. Using bracket as a guide, drill two holes (5mm diameter x 25mm deep) in a
wall 7cm apart.
2. Insert the two fixings, that are supplied, into the holes.
3. Slide bracket on to screws then ghten.
4. Slide alarm onto base plate to acvate it, and remember to test it.
5. The alarm is tamper-proof and can only be removed using a screw driver.
Free-standing
1. No more than 1 metre from the floor (to minimise this risk of the alarm being
permanently damaged should it be knocked to the floor from a greater height)
2. Make sure the alarm is in the upright posion and not lying flat on the surface
