Quantum LTO-9 HH SAS User’s Guide

Chapter 2

Introduction

The Quantum LTO-9 Tape Drive is a high-performance, high-capacity

data-storage device that is designed to back up and restore open

systems applications. It is the ninth generation in the Ultrium series of

products, and is available with a Serial Attached SCSI interface (SAS).

This model incorporates the Linear Tape-Open (LTO) Quantum Ultrium 9

Half-High Tape Drive.
