2. Tighten the thumb screws on the front of the P100E3 Node.
3. Replace the 2.5 inch drives. For more information, refer to
Installing a 2.5 inch drive on page 17.
4. Replace the 3.5 inch drives. For more information, refer to Installing a 3.5 inch drive on page 14.
5. Reconnect all of the cables in the original configuration. For more information, refer to Cabling map
on page 63.
6. Power on the P100E3 Node using the power button on the front panel.
7. If Quantum Corporation support is not onsite, contact customer support for the final post-replacement
procedures for bringing the P100E3 Node online.
3.2 Mounting kit replacement instructions
ActiveScale systems can use different rail kits for each component. Use the following table to determine
which sections are relevant for your mounting kits.
3.2.0.1 Installing a P100E3 Node 1U mounting kit
To install the replacement P100E3 Node 1U mounting kit, do the following:
1. Align the mounting kit left rail with the rack front vertical rail.
2. Press the tab marked “PUSH” to secure the rail to the rack.
