Removing a HDD Backplane

Prerequisite:

Remove the mainboard. See

Removing a Mainboard

Module

Remove all swappable HDD assemblies.

Remove the optical drive assembly.

1. Remove all cables from the HDD backplane.

2. Lift the HDD backplane over the hooks.

3. ,Tilt and remove the HDD backplane from the chassis.
