WARNING!
- Always take care when removing the packaging to prevent damage to you or to the grass
trimmer.
IMPORTANT!
- Before assembling the grass trimmer, check all the parts indicated in the manual are in the box.
Inspect all the parts for signs of damage. Do not assemble the grass trimmer if you observe any
damaged components.
1. Remove all parts of the grass trimmer from the box and carefully remove all packaging. Take
care not to lose any instructions which may be attached to the tool, these provide important
information which will be required while assembling the grass trimmer.
2. Keep all packaging until the grass trimmer is fully assembled and has been operated
successfully.
Always recycle the packaging in accordance with local recycling schemes.
1a Take off the protection cap from the lower shaft. Push in the button located on the lower shaft.
1b Align the button with the guide recess on the upper shaft and slide the two shafts together.
Rotate the drive shaft until the button locks into the positioning hole. Tighten the knob on the
coupler, securing the two shafts together.
Note! If you have difficulty in assembling of the lower drive shaft –then rotate the cutting head
slightly ,this will then align the drive shaft for assembly.
