USA INSTALLATIONS
:
If optional Cast Base is installed use
a noncombustible floor protector extending under unit and to
the sides, front and back of unit as shown in Floor Protection
Diagram. Measure front distance (M) from the surface of the
glass door.
If Cast Base is not installed, the noncombustible floor protector
must be 1/4 inch (6mm) minimum thickness (“k” value = 0.84).
A noncombustible floor protection extending beneath the
flue pipe is recommended with horizontal venting or under
the top vent adapter with vertical installation.
