3.9.4 Account Manager
This page allows user to add or delete switch local user database for authentication. The default
user is “admin”.
Click Maintenance
→
Account Manager in the navigation panel to display the screen as
shown below.
The following table describes the labels in this screen.
LABEL DESCRIPTION
User name Enter your user name for new account.
Password Type
Select password type for new account:

Clear Text: Password without encryption.

Encrypted: Password with encryption.

No Password: No password for new account.
Password
If the password type is not “No Password”, the password must be
specified.
Retype Password
Retype password to make sure the password is exactly you typed before
in “Password” field.
Privilege Type
Select privilege level for new account:

Admin: Allow to change switch settings.

User: See switch settings only. Not allow to change it.
Apply Click Apply to save your changes to the switch.
Modify Click Delete to delete the added users.
