Installing 2.5-inch Solid State Drives on 2.5-inch Trays
Warning
• Installing a drive and installing QTS deletes all data on the drive.
• Observe electrostatic discharge (ESD) procedures to avoid damage to components.
1.
Power off the NAS.
2.
Remove the top cover.
a.
Remove the screws connecting the top cover to the chassis.
b.
Lift the top cover up.
3.
Remove the drive tray.
a.
Remove the screws that secure the tray to the chassis.
b.
Pull the tray out.
