Remove the tool-less screw from the bottom of the NAS.

Slide the cover away from the base to unlock.

d.

Pull the cover up until it completely detaches from the chassis.

Slide the drive into the tray until it is fully connected to the SATA connector.

Important

When installing drives on the TS-228A, always start with slot 1.
