Using QLogic Control Suite
QLogic Control Suite Overview
QLogic Control Suite (QCS) is an integrated utility that provides useful information
about each network adapter that is installed in your system. QCS also enables
you to perform detailed tests, diagnostics, and analyses on each adapter. You can
also view and modify property values and view traffic statistics for network objects.
QCS operates on Windows and Linux operating systems.
ASP, which runs within QLogic Control Suite, is used to configure teams for load
balancing, fault tolerance, and virtual local area networks (VLANs). ASP is
available only on systems that use at least one QLogic network adapter. ASP
operates on Windows operating systems only.
The QCS application includes a graphical user interface and a command line
interface (QCSCLI). QCS GUI and QCS CLI can operate on the following
operating system families:
Windows Server
Linux Server
Configuring Preferences in Windows
Managing Ethernet Controller (Port)
Configuring With the Command Line
Interface Utility
NOTE
Some features of QCS are relevant only to particular adapters or adapter
families, such as the 8400/3400 Series adapters. Because a single instance
of QCS can be used to communicate with multiple hosts and adapter types,
this document describes all QCS features.
