Safety precautions
2.6 Safety devices
The machine is equipped with a mechanical locking device of the lift as a safety device. In order to fully
comply with the Machinery Directive, a number of additional safety devices must be added before the
machine can be put into service. An example of this is given in the following figure.
The performance level of the safety components used must be PL d cat.3.

Emergency stop buttons / Machine stop buttons (not delivered, not sketched in):
- On the control cabinet.
- On the main control panel.
- On the control panels.

Safety fencing with doors, equipped with safety switches and locks: (not supplied):
- Around the machine.

Safety light curtains (not supplied):
- At the pallet infeed conveyor.
- At the pallet outfeed conveyor.
- At the pallet dispenser.

Mechanical locking mechanism lift:
- At the pallet lift.
