BIOS Description
l
Sw ap Floppy Enabled If the system has tw o floppy drives, choose
Drive Disabled enable to assign physical drive B to logical drive
A and vice-versa.

Boot Up Enabled Tests floppy drives to determine w hether they
Floppy Seek Disabled have 40 or 80 tracks.
l
Boot Up On Select pow er on state for NumLock.
NumLock Status Off
l
Gate A20 Option Normal Lets chipset control GateA20 and Normal - a pin
Fast in the keyboard controller controls GateA20.
Default is Fast.
l
Typermatic Rate Enabled Keystrokes repeat at a rate determined by the
Setting Disabled keyboard controller - w hen enabled, the
typematic rate and typematic delay can be
selected.
l
Typermatic Rate 6-30 The rate at w hich character repeats w hen you
(chars/sec) hold dow n a key.

Typermatic Delay 250-1000 The delay before keystrokes begin to repeat.

Security Option Setup Select w hether the passw ord is required every
