First time installation:
1. Default the control panel by placing a jumper across LK1.
2. Apply power (either ac or dc volts) to the control panel.
3. After +/- 15 seconds, remove the jumper on LK1.
4. Remove power to control panel.
5. Connect the keypad/s.
6. Apply power to the control panel.
7. Address the keypad/s by entering programming mode 6 on each keypad (default installer code = 2580)
8. Remove power to control panel, +/- 15 seconds.
9. Re-apply power to the control panel.
Note 1 :-
After addressing one or multiple keypads, the system must be powered down and re-
powered to allow the keypads to be enrolled into the microprocessor.
If a new keypad is added at a later stage, the keypad must be enrolled and then updated by
entering programming mode level 7, on the new keypad to update zone descriptors.
Note 2 :-
After any programming is carried out on the control panel, a system power down must be
carried out.
Note 3 :-
To default a keypad to factory default
Remove all power.
Depress Panic, Fire, Medical and Prog keys simultaneously while re-applying power.
Note 4 :-
Error message “
Not compatible upgrade panel
“ is displayed when the panel software is
below the keypad software and must be upgraded.
Note 5 :-
Error message “
Not compatible upgrade keypad
“ is displayed when the keypad software
is below the panel software and must be upgraded.
Note 6:-
Defaulting
When defaulting the control panel via the default jumper links on the panel all programming
and user codes default but not the zone descriptors.
When defaulting via the keypad (installer level 3)all panel programming and zone descriptors
default but not the user codes.
User codes only can be defaulted (Installer level 4).
