Start-up Instructions:

Wrap Teflon Tape around the threads of the shank of the faucet, screw the Faucet Adapter (F) onto the shank with adjustable
wrench. Refer to "Connecting the Tubes Using Quick-Connect Fittings" and insert one end of the pre-cut tubing into the faucet
adapter and the other into the water outlet side of the head.

Determine the length of 3/8” Tubing (D) from the inlet of Head Assembly (A) to the cold water supply valve by holding tubing in
place ensuring it’s of appropriate length. Cut tubing square with a utility knife.
CAUTION: Do not kink tubing as this will impede water flow.

Attach Compression Hex Nut (G), Ferrule (H) and Insert (I) in one end of 3/8” tubing. Insert the tubing into the valve and
tighten the nut with adjustable wrench. Refer to "Connecting the Tubes Using Quick-Connect Fittings" and insert the other end
of the tubing into the inlet of the head.

Slowly open the cold water supply valve that you closed at the beginning of this installation.
2.
Open the cold water sink faucet to purge air from the system. When the water runs smooth with no bubbles or spurting, close
the faucet and check for leaks for all fittings.
3.
Open the cold water sink faucet again to rinse the system.
CAUTION: Let water run 15 minutes before using.
NOTE: Initially, there may be some dark discoloration of the water (carbon deposits). This condition is normal
and will disappear quickly.
Installation Instructions (continued):
1.
Remove the Blue Horseshoe Clip from the Collet.
2.
Pull out and discard the Colored Plug by pushing the Collet inward and holding with your fingers.
3.
Insert Tubing into the Collet. Full engagement is 11/16” length of the Tubing into the Fitting for 1/4” Tubing, and 3/4” length
for 3/8” Tubing.
NOTE: Ensure the Tubing is pushed all the way into the backstop.
4.
Re-install the Blue Horseshoe Clip into the Collet.
