Opera ng the compactor
Before running your compactor, make sure the container is properly secured. Make sure the area is
clear and the compactor is safe to run. Follow instruc ons below.
Manual
With the KEY SWITCH in MANUAL posi on, press START to start the cycle. The motor will immediate ‐
ly turn on. A er 3 seconds, the ram will move forward and con nue forward un l either the forward
mer (T0) mes out or the pressure switch turns on for 1.25 seconds. The ram will then shi to re ‐
verse and con nue in reverse un l the reverse mer (T1) mes out or the pressure switch turns on
for 1 second. If the mul cycle mer (T2) has med out the motor will stop and the process is over.
If the mul cycle mer has not med out the ram will immediately move forward to begin another
cycle.
If the E ‐ STOP is pressed, a door is opened, or the KEY SWITCH is turned o ff , the cycle will stop and the
motor will shut o ff . When the START bu on is pressed again, the compactor will start forward.
If the REVERSE bu on is pressed and held the motor will start and the ram will shi into reverse or
con nue in reverse. Once the REVERSE bu on is released the cycle will stop and the motor will turn
o ff .
If the START bu on is pressed during a normal cycle there will be no e ff ect. If the START bu on is
pressed at the me that T1 mes out or the ram deadheads in reverse for 1 second the compactor
will begin another cycle regardless of mul ‐ cycle mer value.
If the pressure switch is actuated for 1/2 sec on forward stroke the FULL light will come on. The con ‐
tainer should be changed out soon. NOTE: Reset by pressing the E ‐ STOP bu on.
If the pressure switch is actuated for 1 sec on the forward stroke the FULL light will stay on and the
compactor will shut down. NOTE: Reset by pressing the E ‐ STOP bu on.
