2.2

GUIDE TO INSTALLATION

The following can be used as a checklist to verify all of the steps necessary for
complete installation of the LazerData

®

11000 Scanner.

1.

Read all information in the section "Safety Precautions” at the beginning of
this manual.

2.

Correctly position and mount the scanner for bar code reading according to the
information in sections 2.3, 2.5, and 3.4.

3.

Provide correct system cabling according to the signals necessary (see all of
section 2.4).

4.

The Standard Application Program default setting and the instructions to
perform software configuration are available in the LDHOST help file.

NOTE

Fine tuning of the scanner position for bar code reading can be
accomplished using the Test Mode as described in LDHOST.

The installation is now complete.
