Remote divert

: You can configure call forwarding for other users of the

Forum 500 / Forum 5000. Programming call forwarding for a virtual
call number is also possible (please refer to

Call for a Virtual Number

(TeleSecretary)

on page 118). This function has the following authori-

sation prerequisites:

– The system administrator as assigned

Call forwarding for other

user

authorisation for your user group.

– You can also only configure call forwarding for users whose terminal

has not been blocked for this type of access. For such users, the

Prevent call forwarding by other user

authorisation needs to be

deactivated.

: Enter the internal number that you want to forward or select a

number from the telephone book. The rest of the procedure is
the same as configuring the “Call diversion” function (see
page 181).

Follow Me

: This type of call forwarding diverts calls from another terminal

(source) to your telephone. The PIN of the source terminal is required
for this function. If the “follow me” function is active, all call numbers of
the other device are forwarded

immediately

to your telephone.

Source

: Enter the internal call number from which calls are to be

forwarded.

PIN

: Enter the user PIN of the source.

On

Off

: Switching call forwarding on or off. You can switch “Follow

me” call forwarding off again on your own telephone or on the
other terminal via the

Off

option. You can also switch off “Divert

call immediately” on the other terminal.

“Messages” Menu Group

Short messages

: Short messages can be exchanged between users with

system terminals. The communications system also sends short
messages to inform you about events, e. g. if a recording could not be
started. When a message arrives, an extra window containing details on
the sender is shown for four seconds (on the system terminal’s display).

Received mail

: A list of senders of received messages is displayed.
