REMOVE FUSIBLE LINK – Please Read Safety Precautions on Page 2
REPLACE FUSIBLE LINK
Remove fusible link from batteries using insulated wrenches. See
Safety Notice and Personal Safety Precautions on Page 30.
2.
On positive terminal of battery B1, and
using the red terminal end of the fus-
ible link:
a) Place 7/16 bolt through ring of
harness and battery terminal.
b) Place 7/16 nut on end of bolt.
c) Tighten assembly with either two
7/16 insulated end wrenches or a
torque wrench
d) Torque to 25-30 in-lbs.
e) Place protector over the battery
terminal.

On negative terminal of battery B2,
and using the black terminal end of
the fusible link: Follow a) thru e) of
Step 1 in this section.
