General Safety Information
General Safety Notes:
Any adult with any of the below issues should not use this tanning equipment. If you are
unsure consult your doctor prior to use.
Contraindication:
This sunlamp product is contraindicated for use on persons under the
age of 18 years.
Contraindication:
This sunlamp product must not be used if skin lesions or open wounds
are present.
Contraindication:
This sunlamp product should not be used on individuals who have had
skin cancer or have a family history of skin cancer. People repeatedly exposed to ultraviolet
sunlamp products should be regularly evaluated for skin cancer.
Contraindication:
People with Skin Type I, who are prone to sunburn should not use this
equipment, or had several sever sunburns as a child. People who are already suffering from
sunburn should not use this equipment until the sunburn is completely gone and they can
properly evaluate skin type and calculate their exposure schedule.
Contraindication:
People taking photosensitive medications, medicines, or people who are
being treated by a doctor for conditions related to photosensitivity.
Contraindication:
Peope who wear a heart pacemaker.
Contraindication:
People are who are prone to freckles, or people with naturally red hair
color.
Contraindication:
People who have atypical discolored skin areas and/or with more than
five atypical moles with a diameter of 5 milimeters. People with more than 16 moles with a
diameter greater than or equal to 2 milimeters. If you are unsure consult your doctor prior to
your tanning session.
Contraindication:
People who do not tan at all or cannot tan without getting a sunburn.
Limits of Application:
Never operate this unit when the ambient room air temperature is greater than 104 degrees
faranheit.
Never operate this unit in a commercial setting when the remote timer is not working properly.
Always disconnect the unit from its power supply when servicing or repairing the unit.
