OPERATING THE DRIVE SYSTEM
The drive system assists you during pedalling with additional motor power up to a speed of
25 km/h. You can select freely between 5 speed levels:
1. Select the desired speed level with the Plus

or Minus

button (Fig. AZ) before or whilst dri-
ving.
The mode display will indicate the selected level

(Fig. AZ).
If the pedals stop moving during the trip, the motor will also stop automatically after a short
delay. You can use the e-bike just like a normal bicycle when the drive system is switched off.
DRIVING BEHAVIOUR WITH MOTOR ASSISTANCE
The driving behaviour of an e-bike with active motor assistance is sometimes very different
from that of a bicycle.
You should therefore adapt the assistance level of the motor to the outside environment (e.g.
road surface, traffic density, surface conditions), the speed and your own capabilities. For ex -
ample, use either a low level of assistance or no assistance at all when driving into tight cur-
ves or when driving at a low speed.
