OPERATION
WARNING
After any adjustments, repair or service and before use, make sure that all attaching
hardware is tightened securely - otherwise injury or damage may result.
The electronics control unit is programmed with standard values during manufac-
ture. Set-up of the Electronics Control Unit is to be performed only by a qualified
technician. The final adjustments of the controller may affect other activities of the
wheelchair. Damage to the equipment could occur if improperly set-up or adjusted.
Turning the Power On/Off
NOTE: For this procedure, refer to FIGURE 5.1.
1. To turn the power On by pressing the
On/Off button.
NOTE: After turning power on, the battery
gauge indicators will light briefly. One of the
following will occur after that:
•
The current battery charge will be indicated
on the information gauge display.
• Lock Mode will be indicated by all LEDs
flashing briefly and the information gauge
LEDs chasing slowly from right to left. If
this occurs, press the horn button two times
within ten (10) seconds to unlock the
joystick.

2. Turning the power Off can be achieved by pressing the On/Off button.
NOTE: If the joystick has been programmed for lock mode, holding the On/Off button down for
four seconds will lock the joystick. The LEDs will flash briefly and the horn will sound a short beep.
