The following section provides a summary of the front and back panel hardware features of PegasusPro R16.

Front Panel

The front panel of PegasusPro R16 enclosures provide access to drives carriers. Defective drives can be

replaced without interruption of data availability to the host computer. If so configured, a hot spare drive

will automatically replace a failed drive, securing the fault-tolerant integrity of the logical drive. The self-

contained hardware-based RAID logical drive in the PegasusPro R16 provides maximum performance in

a compact external enclosure.

The PegasusPro R16 enclosure features the system power button and two USB ports located on the left

side, and the front LED indicators located on the right side.
