Installing the batteries
1.
Turn off the power on your camera and the ON/OFF switch (10) of the grip. Turn the battery release lever (10) counter- clockwise to open the battery
chamber door.

Remove the battery holder from the grip. The LP-E8 battery holder (18) comes pre-installed when shipped.

For LP-E8 Li-ion Batteries: Matching the indentations on the battery with the LP-E8 holder, Press the battery down and slide it in the direction of the
arrow until the power terminals click into place.
4.
For AA Batteries: Place six AA batteries of the same type into the AA battery holder, ensuring that they are in the correct orientation. Mixing battery
types, or using fresh and used batteries together could result in deteriorated performance or damage to the grip.
5.
Insert the battery holder into the grip. Close the battery chamber and then turn the lever clockwise to lock. Turn on the camera and check the battery
level in the control panel or viewfinder.
One Year Unconditional Warranty
If for any reason, this ProMaster product fails within ONE YEAR of the date of purchase, return this product to your ProMaster dealer and it will be
exchanged for you at no charge. ProMaster products are guaranteed for ONE FULL YEAR against defects in workmanship and materials. If at
any time after one year, your ProMaster product fails under normal use, we invite you to return it to ProMaster for evaluation.
