General safety instructions
- Use this product only for its intended purpose.
- This product can be used both indoors and outdoors.
- Carefully remove the product from its packaging.
- Do not leave the lane light unattended with children.
- Do not use the lane light while it is charging.
- Check the product regularly for damage. If any damage is detected, the product must no longer be used.
- Ensure that the battery is only replaced with an adequate one.
- Only clean the lane light when it is switched off and has cooled down.
- Please use a dry and child-proof place to store the lane light.
- Before using the product for the first time, make sure that it has not been damaged in transit. If the housing
or electrical parts are damaged, the product must not be operated.
- Do not leave any packaging parts, e.g. plastic bags, cardboard, polystyrene, etc., within reach of children to
avoid a hazard.
- Have the product repaired only by a specialist.
- The entire product must not be modified or converted. Modifications to the product will invalidate the
warranty.
Battery safety (rechargeable battery)
Notes on preventing damage to the battery
- Never attempt to open, modify or wilfully destroy the battery.
- The lane light may only be opened by a specialist.
- Avoid temperatures above 40°C.
- The battery should not be crushed, short-circuited, thrown into fire or water.
- Batteries and rechargeable batteries are hazardous waste and must not be disposed of with household
waste.
- If battery fluid gets on your skin, wash the area thoroughly with plenty of soap and water. In the event of eye
contact, rinse with plenty of clean water and immediately consult a doctor or hospital.
Operation of the lane light
a) Charging
- The Y-USB charging cable must be connected to a designated power supply unit.
- Fully charge the battery of the lane light before first use.
- The lane light must be switched off when charging to avoid damage to the charger.
- Connect the USB cable to the charging socket of the lane light. Then plug the power supply unit into the
socket.
- The LED charging indicator illuminates RED during the charging process. When the battery is fully charged,
the LED illuminates BLUE. The charging process takes up to 6 hours.
- Remove the charger when charging is completed.
b) Operation
- The lane lights must be mounted on the dolly so that the red light shines to the rear and the white light
shines to the front.
- Attached by magnet to the side frame.
- The lane lights can be switched on and off by pressing the OFF/ON button.
- Ensure that the lane lights are attached to the outer frame with both magnets in order to avoid loss while
driving.
c) Service
- Make sure that the lane light always remains clean. If dirt, grease or oil does get on the light, clean it
thoroughly and promptly with a damp cloth.
