A) HANDHELD REMOTE CONTROL SETUP
Install the CR2032, 3V battery included. Remove the battery if not used for long periods of
time to prevent damage to the hand held remote. (Fig. 1)
NOTE: The Remote System is equipped with a learning frequency function that has 65K code
combinations to prevent potential interference from other remote units. The frequency on
your Receiver and Transmitter units have been preset at the factory. We recommend setting
up the frequency while installing the ceiling fan instead of using the initial frequency set by the
factory. The process of changing the frequency is as below. Within 60 seconds of turning the
Receiver AC power ON, press and hold the Transmitter FAN OFF(Stop) button for at least 5
seconds.
The light kit will flicker to confirm.
The receiver will learn the same frequency that
the transmitter has set up. After completion of above operation, you can operate the ceiling
fan and light.
If above set up is not successful, turn off the power to the receiver and repeat the above
actions.
Safety Precautions:
WARNING: Disconnect source of electrical power by removing the fuse or switching off
circuit breakers.
• Do not use with solid state fans.
• Electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code requirements.
• Electrical source and fan must be 115/120 volts, 60 Hz. Maximum fan motor amps is 1.5 A.
Maximum light watts is 50W-incandescent, 50VA (LED).
