6.3.3 when the call is not answered:
a. the telephone will keep the line open for the programmed
dialling time while the telephone is ringing on the other
side
b. after the programmed dialling time, the call will be con

nected and the 2nd emergency number will be dialled
immediately
c. like point ‘b’ but the 3rd number is dialled
d. this is repeated for up to 10 times, the telephone will then
cancel the alarm mode and return to standby
6.3.4 other call situations:
a.
the dialled party is busy:
the telephone detects the busy tone, disconnects the
call after several seconds and dials the next emergency
number
b.
the call is answered by an answering machine or by
voicemail:
after the programmed dialling time of 30, 60, 90 or
120 seconds (or after several seconds of silence), the call
is disconnected and the next number will be dialled
7 SETUP:
7.1 TIME, DATE AND CONTRAST:
In standby mode, the display of your telephone will show the
time and date and when receiving an incoming call, the time
and date of the call, together with the number, will be regis-
tered in the Caller-ID memory.
You can also adjust the contrast of the display to make sure
the display is readable in any circumstances.
