6 EMERGENCY CALL
6.1 INTRODUCTION:
As soon as you press the red
SOS
button, the telephone
automatically dials 3 pre-programmed emergency numbers. If
the call to the 1
st
number is not answered, the 2
nd
number will
be dialled and then the 3
rd
number. This cycle is repeated up
to 10 times. However, if the call is answered, you can explain
your situation to the person you’ve called via the receiver or
hands-free function and ask for help.
You can set how long the telephone must wait for an answer
before the call is disconnected and the next number is dialled.
6.2 TO PROGRAM EMERGENCY NUMBERS AND DIAL-
LING TIME:
6.2.1 to program emergency numbers:
press and hold the button for 3 seconds
until ‘E1’ appears in the display
(if an emergency number is already programmed, this
number will be shown behind ‘E1’)
if desired, use the
button to delete any
old emergency number and use the key-
pad to enter the emergency number that
must be dialled first
press the button, the display will show
‘E2’ and you can now program the 2nd
emergency number
repeat this for the 3rd emergency number
(‘E3’) and press the button
