WARNINGS
•
Never place the fan near flammable liquids and units operating on gas.
•
Make sure that the fan cannot come into contact with water or other liquids, this can lead to the
risk of electric shock.
•
Do not insert objects or fingers in the rotating fins of the unit. Protect your children from this danger.
•
Never try to repair the unit yourself. All interventions that are performed by an unauthorised person
could be dangerous; the warranty will be void in this case. Also the replacement of the power cord
needs to be performed by a qualified electrician
•
Use this unit only inside and operate it according to these instructions. Do not use the unit for other
purposes.
•
Do not use the unit outside and always place it in a dry environment.
•
Check the power cord from time to time. Never use the power cord, plug or appliance when they
are damaged.
•
Unplug the fan from the outlet before moving the fan.
•
Unplug the fan before cleaning the fan.
•
Make sure the fan is on a flat and stable surface during operation so that it cannot fall over.
•
Never use an extension cord.
•
Do not use chemical products to clean the fan.
•
Make sure that children are supervised by an adult when they are near a working fan.
ASSEMBLY
•
Place the weight for the base (18) under the base (17) and make sure that the openings match.
•
Place the stem (15) on the base (17)
•
Insert the screws (16) in the openings in the stem (15) and base (17)
•
Turn the unit upside down making sure that the screws (16) do not fall out and turn the nuts (19)
on the ends of the screws (16). Firmly tighten the screws (16).
•
Turn the adjustable ring (14) of the stem (15) and slide the decorative plate (12) over the stem.
Then fit the adjustable ring (14) on the stem (15) again.
•
Pull the adjustable stem (13) out to the required height and again tighten the adjustable ring (14).
•
Turn the screw (11) and place the fan head on the adjustable stem (13). Tighten the screw (11)
again.
•
Turn (clockwise) the fastening ring of the fan blade (2) off the pin of the motor (7)
•
Turn (anticlockwise) the fastening ring of the back of the safety grate (5) loose from the pin of the
motor (7)
•
Place the back of the safety grate (6) on the pin of the motor (7), making sure that the handle is
facing upwards and that the 2 fastening pins (A-B) fit in the vertical slots of the safety grate (6).
Tighten the fastening ring (5) (clockwise).
•
Place the fan blade (4) on the pin of the motor and tighten using the fastening ring (2)
(anticlockwise)
•
Remove the safety screw (3) from the ring (20) and place the ring (20) on the back of the safety
grate (6)
•
Place the front side of the safety grate (1) on the back (6) so the ring (20) can hold both parts
together. Insert the safety screw (3)
OPERATION
•
The airflow can be directed up or down by carefully moving the fan head up or down.
•
To make the fan head swivel or put it in a fixed position use the swivel button, it is operated by
pulling it out or pushing it in.
•
The height of the fan can be adjusted by loosening the adjustment (14) ring at the bottom of the
stand and gently sliding the fan up or down. Then tighten the ring again.
•
You can set the speed of the fan with the speed buttons:
0 = off / 1 = low / 2 = medium / 3 = high
