Safety measures
To ensure safe operation of your heater the
appliance must be connected according to the
instructions in the manual.
The appliance is only suitable for domestic use
within the home.
Do not use the appliance in humid spaces such as
bathrooms, utility spaces, etc. This anti-frost fan
heater is to keep small spaces such as basements,
garages and storage spaces frost-free.
If the heater is covered this can be a fire hazard.
Place the appliance upright and on a flat, dry
surface.
The surfaces and in particular the grate become hot
when the heater is on. Make sure that small children
cannot touch these surfaces.
No objects may be inserted through the appliance's
grate openings. This can disrupt the working of the
heater and burn the object.
Never use the appliance in combination with a time
switch. The heater automatically switching on can
be a danger if you are away.
The cable may not be placed over the hot appliance.
Electrical heaters are designed as extra heating and
are not suitable for main heating during the cold
season.
If the appliance has overturned first switch the
power off before bringing the appliance upright
again and remove the cause of overturning as
necessary.
Place the appliance at least 100cm from the wall
and flammable objects such as furniture, cushions,
paper, plants, etc. This appliance may only be used
assembled on a wall.
Never leave your appliance unattended. Also always
pull the plug out of the socket when you leave the
room.
Do not use an extension lead.
Connection
The heater is supplied with a socket plug. Never use
the appliance with a damaged cable and/or socket
plug, after the heater has not been working properly, or
if it has been damaged in whatever way.
The replacement of a cable and/or socket plug may
only be done by a qualified professional who is familiar
with the applicable requirements.
Operation and functions
Operation:
Insert the socket plug in the plug socket and turn the
thermostat to switch the heater on. Caution! When
the thermostat is turned fully to left the appliance is
still on. To fully switch the appliance off you must
remove the socket plug from the plug socket.
Use:
The thermostat will automatically maintain your
desired room temperature.
Turn the thermostat fully clockwise until you hear a
click. This means that the heater is now switched
on. If you turn the button further you turn the heater
up higher. Conversely, turning the button
anticlockwise lowers the temperature set.
If the pilot lamp is on the heater is working.
The heating elements are adjustable from 5°C to
35°C.
Cleaning
We advise you to clean the heater once a month to
remove dirt and dust. This ensures the heater will
continue working efficiently and safely.
Always switch the thermostat off and remove the
socket plug from the plug socket. Make sure the
appliance has fully cooled before cleaning.
Clean the housing with a clean, soft and light damp
cloth. Never clean the heating elements or
thermostat in water. Blow as much dust as possible
off the heating elements. This lengthens the working
life and reduces the risk of fire.
Save the box for storage during periods you are not
using the ceramic heater. When being stored the
heater must also be protected against dirt and dust.
Wall fastening
Respect the minimum distance from objects.
Drill 2 holes with a diameter of 6mm in the wall and
insert the plugs supplied. Make sure that you fit the
heater square.
Unscrew the safety screw from the protection to
remove the wall support.
Screw the wall support tight on the wall and
replace the safety screw.
