6.4 

Speed control 

 

1.   Foot throttle (6.4-1) 
 

This pedal allows the forward and backward driving speeds to be 
controlled continuously between 0 to 10 km/h.  

 
 

Press the pedal forward to drive forwards. 

 
 

Press the pedal to the rear to drive backwards. 

 
 

In order to stop the machine, take your foot off the pedal. The pedal 
can also be pressed back a little to brake more quickly. 

 
 

 

 

 

CAUTION 
Abrupt operation of the steering lever will make the machine accel-
erate too quickly. 
Familiarise yourself with the driving characteristics of the machine 
in an open area at moderate speed. There is a risk of an accident.

Hand Brake System 

 

•

  When the hand brake is pulled on, the foot throttle is locked. 

 

•

  New programming in the trip computer enables the driver to get off the 

seat without the engine stopping, provided the hand brake has been 
applied and the mowing deck has stopped. This enhancement will     
noticeably increase the lifespan of both starter and battery. 

 

 

1.  Securing the parking brake: 

Press the locking pedal (1) downwards so that the driving pedal (3) en-
gages. By pressing the hand lever (2) forwards, secure the locking 
mechanism. 
Only let go of the locking pedal once the hand lever has been closed 
correctly.
