9. WARNINGS ON BATTERY
Lithium Ion cells and battery may get hot, explode or ignite and cause serious
injury if they are exposed to abusive conditions. Be sure to follow the safety
warnings listed below:
l
Be sure to observe the correct polarity when inserting the batteries.
l
Avoid the positive and/or negative terminals and/or the poles of the batteries coming into contact
with each other or with metal. This can lead to a short circuit.
l
The batteries should not be disassembled or modified. The batteries contain safety and pro-
tective devices. Damage to the batteries may cause them to generate heat, explode or ignite.
l
Do not store the batteries in or near fire, stoves or other objects that emit high temperatures.
Do not expose the batteries to direct sunlight. Do not store the battery in a car in hot weather.
The battery may explode or ignite at high temperatures.
l
Batteries should not be stored within reach of children.
l
To avoid short circuits, the terminals of the batteries should be covered with insulating tape
before disposal.
l
Use of the batteries should be discontinued immediately if unusual odors, a change in color,
shape, or other abnormal conditions occur.
l
Do not place batteries in microwave ovens, high-pressure containers, or on stove tops.
l
If liquid leaks from a battery and comes in contact with your eye, do not rub the eye, flush well
with water and seek medical attention immediately. If the eye is not treated immediately, the
battery fluid may cause serious injury to the eye.
10. SECURITY TIPS
l
Obey absolutely valid regulations on the electrical security
l
Never run pump dry
l
Pumping inflammable, as well as all other aggressive liquids is prohibited
l
Observe water temperature of max. 35°C
l
Any manipulation or modification of the individual components is prohibited. This will
void any warranty or guarantee claims.
l
During longer unused times, clean the pump, wash it out with clear water, dry and store
it at room temperature
l
Test wells for enough flowing water (dry run danger)
l
The pump may be used by children aged 8 years and above as well as persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or those who lack skills, experience and
knowledge only if they are supervised. These aforementioned persons should only use
the appliance while adhering to safe instructions and resulting dangers.
l
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
l
Under certain circumstances, it is possible that contamination of the water may occur
due to lubricant leakage.
l
All solar modules are very sensitive, protect them from extreme mechanical influences
(shock, vibration, etc.)
