Installation instructions
A) Preparation of vehicle
1. In the boot, dismantle the sill panel and covers of the holder of the door lock.
(Refer to: Body and assembly works - Group of Repairs 70).
2. Dismantle rear group lights. (Refer to: Electrical equipment - Group of
Repairs 94).
3. Position the vehicle over the workshop lift, loosen the nuts of rear wheels, lift
up the vehicle to the required height and dismantle rear wheels.
4. Dismantle rear bumper and rear dust protectors. (Refer to: Body and assembly
works - Group of Repairs 63).
5. Dismantle inserts of rear fenders. (Refer to: Body and assembly works -
Group of Repairs 66).
6. Dismantle cross beam (bracing) of the rear bumper. (Refer to: Body and
assembly works - Group of Repairs 63).
7. Put the dismantled rear bumper to a soft felt support with the inner side facing
upwards. On the bottom part of the bumper, measure (such as by means of the
contour of the pressed part for the cut-out of the bumper) and mark the centre
of the bumper (Figure 1). By means of the enclosed template (pay attention to
the right orientation of the template !) draw and carefully cut out the hole in
the bumper (Figure 2). Pay attention so as not to damage the varnish of the
bumper! Put the bumper treated in this way aside to a suitable place.
