AutoCode

Blood Glucose Meter

STEP 3: Gently massage your

finger or the puncture site to ob-

tain the required blood volume. To

perform the test, you need 0.7 μL

of blood. For best results, wipe off

the first drop of blood and gently

massage the area to obtain anoth-

er drop of blood. Do not smear the

blood sample.
Step 4: Remove the Lancing De-

vice Cover and push the Lancet

Ejector to release the Lancet. Dis-

pose of the used Lancet into the

appropriate Sharps or Biohazard

container.

Note:

The first drop of blood usually contains tissue

fluid and serum which may affect the test result. It

should be discarded.
