How to Weigh
• The fluid ounce and milliliter measures are an
approximation of fluid measures and assume that you
are measuring a liquid such as oil or water. Densities of
different liquids vary.
• Pounds (lb.), ounces (oz.), kilograms (kg), and grams (g)
measure the weight of solid foods, such as meat, vegetable,
flour, and sugar.
• Fluid ounces (fl. oz.) or milliliters (ml) measure volume, such
as milk, juice, and water.
NOTE: Each button will beep when pressed.
1. Place the scale on a hard, flat, level surface.
2. Press the ON (I)/OFF ( ) button. The control panel displays
“88.8.8.8,” then “0.0g” when it is ready to weigh.
3. Press MODE button to select lb., kg, ml., fl. oz., oz., or g.
4. Place item on glass weighing area. The weight will display
on control panel and will increase as you add weight or
decrease as you remove weight.
5. Press ON (I)/OFF ( ) button when finished weighing. The
scale will automatically turn off after 90 seconds if a button
has not been pressed.
NOTES:
• When taring, make sure your container fits on the weighing
area.
• Press HOLD button at any time to lock the current weight
on display for 20 seconds. The display will show “hold.”
Press HOLD button to unlock display.
• When the weight is locked, press the MODE button to change
the unit. The weight will still be locked. Refresh the HOLD by
pressing the TARE button to reset the display to “0.0g” and
unlock.
